Sevenoaks School

Sevenoaks School graduates continue their education at elite universities of the “Russell” (similar to the American “Ivy League”), and some – in the best American universities (Yale, Berkeley, MIT), 30 graduates enter the Oxbridge annually.

Classes at the school are held six days a week – in the morning from Monday to Saturday. During the day, students are usually busy with lessons or take part in sporting and cultural events, they are not bothered by thoughts like “how to do my homework”. Once every three weeks in children shortened week – that is, there are no lessons on Saturday.

The day usually begins at 8:30, classes end at 16:10, after which the children participate in sports, play and participate in various activities, including extracurricular activities in music and theater.

The story of the school is rooted in the mists of time. In the late 14th century on the road to the small town of Sevenoaks, was found abandoned child. By tradition, it was named in honor of the city, and became William Sevenoukom. Growing up, he managed to become Mayor of London, the owner of a large trading company and a personal friend of King Henry. As a thank you for his contribution to the victory under Eydzhinkortom in 1415, King founded a school and a shelter in a place where once was found William child.
